The Pancho Villa park is home to numerous historical exhibits from the battle that happened at this small town in 1916. The park is also only a few miles from the southern border, so if you cross, be sure to visit the Pink Store. The South Fork Negrito Campground is located in Reserve, New Mexico and is surrounded by amazingly tall and lush cottonwoods. Go hiking among some of the area's most spectacular natural rock formations and desert vistas. With plenty of hills and camping, you'll never be bored by the natural terrain and will get lost in its beauty - better yet lose yourself behind the camera as your photograph the terrain. 

The City of Rocks State Park gets its name from the incredible volcanic rock formations found here. The park is a mile from the scenic Chihuahuan Desert Region of southwest New Mexico, and stands at an elevation of 5,200 feet. The geological formation is made up of large, sculpted rock columns and pinnacles rising as high as 40 feet, and separated by paths or lanes resembling streets. After years of natural erosion, the formations have an almost other-worldly appearance, filling the landscape like towers against the beautiful New Mexico sky.
