The geological formation is made up of large, sculpted rock columns and pinnacles rising as high as 40 feet, and separated by paths or lanes resembling streets. After years of natural erosion, the formations have an almost other-worldly appearance, filling the landscape like towers against the beautiful New Mexico sky.

Bigelow Campground is located in the beautiful Coronado National Forest and is an excellent place for an authentic outdoor adventure. Onsite, there's also a diverse and breathtaking terrain, perfect for exploring and scenic viewing. Travelers can also look forward to local landmarks like the Chiricahua National Monument, Saguaro National Park and the Tumacacori National Historic Park. Fool Hollow Lake Recreation Area is a campground located on 1500 N Fool Hollow Lake in Show Low, AZ. The site includes laundry facilities. The campground is open all year.
