We eagerly await your arrival, fellow adventurers, to our UFO alien-themed camping area high above Sun Valley, Arizona!  Also great for ATVs and Hiking.Dogs,  Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash all the time and you must walk your dog off the property to go the bathroom or you will be told to leave the camp.I message everyone the morning of your visit with instructions not to use GPS but to go to exit 294 sun valley off i40 then call me for final directions to the site. Failure to do as such may result in you getting lost or not being allowed in.I can lend you a tent for the night if you do not have one but no dogs are allowed in lent-out tents.

The Route 66 RV Park is located in the cozy town of Sun Valley, Arizona and is a great place to relax and enjoy a quiet southwestern getaway. Aside from the peaceful atmosphere and sprawling desert vista, campers can look forward to nearby attractions like the historic mining town of Oatman and Lake Havasu is only 15 miles away. There, travelers can enjoy excellent fishing, boating, paddle boarding, canoeing and kayaking. The Grand Canyon and Grand Canyon National Park which is just a day's trip away, and excellent for site seeing, climbing, river rafting, hiking and biking. Many campers take mule rides around the canyon and always have a blast.

Campers can look forward to the breathtaking sites of the Petrified Forest and the Painted Desert National Park, both with intricate and challenging trails for visitors to hike, bike and explore. Canyon de Chelly, the Meteor Crater and the Harvey House in Winslow are also relatively close by and certainly worth a visit. With sight-seeing, campers can expect cool temperatures and plenty of excellent local eats to satisfy hungry travelers after a long day of exploring. Jim Gray's Petrified Wood Gift shop is definitely a great stop after dinner in downtown Holbrook. There, campers can buy excellent locally made wood arts and crafts. 

The Homolovi State Park is located in the beautiful town of Winslow and is a great spot for a fun and easy-going Arizona vacation. Onsite, travelers can look forward to the Homolovi Visitor Center which displays archaeological artifacts from the people of Homolovi including art, pottery and tools. There's also nearby picnic areas, equestrian trails, and great spots for wildlife viewing; campers can look out for horned larks, road runners, ravens, burrowing owls and Golden Eagles. Aside from the expansive desert vista for hiking and ATV riding, campers can also look forward to the Wolf Den Gallery, Old Trails Museum, Santa Fe Station Golf Course, Jack's Canyon Bridge and the Winslow Residential Historic District. Other parks are especially popular, and many travelers head to the McHood Park and the Winslow City Park for hiking, biking and sunset viewing. And of course, the town is known for a number of attractions like the 911 Remembrance Garden, Meteor City Trading Post and the Standin' On The Corner Park. The Sharp Creek Campground is located in the beautiful town of Payson, Arizona. At an elevation of over 6,000 feet, campers can look forward to fresh air, great breezes and cool temperatures for hiking, biking and exploring. The historic Highline National Recreational Trail is nearby for challenging walking trails, and two lakes are close by and perfect for boating, fishing, canoeing and kayaking. With pondersoa pine surrounding the grounds, campers can look forward beautiful scenes, birding, creek access and plenty of space for stargazing. Nature-lovers welcome!

The Holbrook/Petrified Forest KOA is located in it's namesake, and is a great spot for exploring the many beautiful sights of Arizona, especially the monuments and the state's historical icons. Campers can look forward to the breathtaking sights of the Petrified Forest and the Painted Desert National Park. Visitors can also walk around the rim of the meteor crater less than an hour west of the campground. Many take day trips to the Grand Canyon, canyon de Chelly and Monument Valley. The Hubbell Trading Post (a historic site) is located on the Navajo reservation and is a great place to explore local culture and support Arizona artisans, so it tends to be packed with eager campers. Overall, stargazing is probably the one activity that every type of camper takes advantage of!

The Sinkhole Campground is located in the beautiful town  of Payson, Arizona and is a great location for a great outdoor adventure. Situated in the ponderosa pine forest, this campground is within walking distance of Willow Springs Lake which provides boating and fishing opportunities. Hiking and mountain biking opportunities are nearby in the non-motorized Wildlife Area, plus, the General Crook National Recreation Trail is also within a mile of the campground. Pro-tip, if you're camping through July and August be prepared for rain, but otherwise expect cool to cold nighttime temperatures and plenty of open skies for stargazing. 

The Blue Ridge Motel & Cabins Campground is located in the beautiful town of Pinetop, Arizona and is a great spot for a quaint southwestern vacation. Campers can look forward to excellent scenes of the Arizona White Mountains, or opt for a more urban adventure at the Hon-Dah Casino. There's also a nearby ski park which is perfect for a winter adventure skiing, sledding and snow shoeing through the picturesque natural terrain. When you visit, you can also expect friendly and helpful staff, a pristine campus and picnic tables outside for group fun. In the town, there's grocery stores, shops and restaurants if you or your group run out of supplies. Pinetop has got you covered!

There, at an elevation of over 7,500 feet, the campground enjoys mild, pleasant temperatures and a thriving ecosystem. Campers can look forward to hiking to the Sinkhole or heading to Willow Springs lake for angler fishing, boating or just relaxing at the water's edge. Many visitors are sure to hike, horseback ride and mountain bike through every nook and cranny of the forest, and in doing this, they get to soak in the gorgeous natural terrain and wildlife. Many even pause after dusk to enjoy stargazing.

The Mogollon Campground is located in the beautiful town of Payson, Arizona, and is a great spot for a quiet, outdoor adventure. Campers can look forward to excellent acreage for hiking, biking and ATV tours, wildlife viewing and even peaks ideal for enjoying one of those iconic southwestern sunsets. Woods Canyon Lake is nearby and perfect for trout fishing, boating, kayaking and canoeing. The camp is relatively bare, but perfect for campers who are hoping to immerse themselves in nature and quietude. The amenities at the park include: water and toilets, and within 10 miles, a boat dock, boat ramp, dump station and evening programs. 

Normas RV Park is located in Joseph City, Arizona and is a great place to settle in for a quiet and cozy southwestern getaway. Campers can look forward to sitting right by historic route 66 and the gorgeous desert vista around the park. Visitors can expect plenty of space to explore, hike, bike or just kick-back on a blanket to enjoy stargazing. There's A Rock Art Ranch nearby, as well as some small town eateries; other than that, there's is little else to distract visitors from a relaxing getaway.

There is Wifi and access to a his and hers bathrooms, but no showers just yet. Our FHU sites, are sites 1 thru 44, and they include Electric, Water, Sewer and Wifi. If you book your stay for 30 days and over, we require a 100-dollar deposit for the metered electric. They are $38.00 a night. Please check with us on availability as we have a lot of monthly guests! We do try to keep 1 thru 8 available for short time stays. Upon arrival we will assign your space, there is no way to reserve a specific spot online. We do accept, Rover-pass, Passport America, and do give a 10% discount for our military and veterans. No combining them together though. We have two showers open in your bathhouse. Three are still under construction. Take It Easy RV Park is OPEN and taking reservations.  The owner of Take It Easy RV Park, Mike, is working hard to update the park and make it a safe and peaceful place for you to stay. We feature 44 pull- thru sites available with full 50 amp, and 30 amp sites along with dry camping and tent sites for those seeking more traditional camping.
