Located in the Gallup Parks and Recreation system is the Red Rock Park. The red cliffs are remnants of the dinosaur age and are especially popular with history buffs. The Lions Club Rodeo is held yearly and draws large crowds; they come through during the summer months so don't miss it! True to the Native American heritage of the state, the Inter-Tribal Indian Ceremonial and the Ceremonial Rodeo are held near the RV Park. The Joe Skeen BLM is located in Grants, New Mexico and was established in 1987 protect nationally significant ecological, cultural, geological, scenic, scientific and wilderness resources located around the Grants Lava Flows. Visitors to the area can look forward to beautifully preserved sandstone cliffs, canyons and the La Ventana Natural Arch. These natural formations connect the New Mexico terrain to the culture and history of the area's Native American past and present, giving them significance beyond it's asthetic appeal. Normas RV Park is located in Joseph City, Arizona and is a great place to settle in for a quiet and cozy southwestern getaway. Campers can look forward to sitting right by historic route 66 and the gorgeous desert vista around the park. Visitors can expect plenty of space to explore, hike, bike or just kick-back on a blanket to enjoy stargazing. There's A Rock Art Ranch nearby, as well as some small town eateries; other than that, there's is little else to distract visitors from a relaxing getaway.
