Burchfield Branch Park is located near Holt Lake on the Black Warrior-Tombigbee Waterway northeast of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. With many amenities, access to the water and opportunities to view wildlife, Burchfield Branch provides a convenient camping spot for families, boaters, swimmers, picnickers and sightseers. Holt Lake was created by the damning of the Black Warrior River. The campground is situated along the forested shores of the river and displays scenic fall foliage each year. Deer, squirrel, wild turkey, migratory birds and blue birds live around the Holt Lake area.   Amenities & Activities The park features: campfire rings, creek access, a dock, drinking water, dump station, entrance station, fishing, fishing pier, flush toilets, general store, grills, picnic shelters, picnic tables, pit toilets, a playground and showers.   Attractions You can also expect nearby attractions such as Holt Lake, Black Warrior-Tombigbee Waterway and the Black Warrror River.   Fishing is the most popular activity on the waterway. Don’t be shy to jump in on a card game with some of our regulars while you’re in there! We didn’t forget about your furry friends either. Complete with a fenced in dog park, we offer something for the whole family. We’re also pleased to offer FREE WIFI for every guest during their stay. Be sure to ask about our onsite storage accommodations while you’re here. For a small additional fee, we have on site storage units in multiple sizes perfect for guests that plan to stay a while. Hanceville is home to one of the nation’s most iconic shrines, Our Lady of the Angels Monastery. The construction began in 1996 and was completed in 1999, under the direction of Mother Angelica of the Eternal Word Television Network. A little further up the road you can enjoy the Huntsville space center that’s sure to be a great stop for all ages! Our campground is quiet and safe. Our camp has a pond for you and your family to fish and relax. Our pond has bluegill, bass, catfish, and brim. Our pond is catch and release. We also have a $10.00 dump station fee on site for the customers staying in our non-sewer site that want to dump before departure.

The Cullman Campground is a hidden gem. Located in a beautiful valley with a meadow with horses and donkeys. Long, level pull throughs with full hook-ups. Cullman is close to local attractions and businesses, so don’t worry if you forgot something at home!   Amenities & Activities The campground features amenities such as: restrooms, hot showers, laundry, metered LP gas, firewood, ice, RV storage, dump station and partial handicap access. We have a ton of activities for the family to enjoy such as: fishing, horseshoes, playground, outdoor games, golf and a pavilion. Plus there’s plenty of nearby farmlands to explore and enjoy local fresh produce.   Cullman is located in a quaint country setting with consistent amp quality and spacing between sites. Take some "time away" and be the first to preview this brand new resort in Lincoln, Alabama. Time Away RV Resort will offer 200 sites, with 13-acres and a grand opening in early June 2021. The resort features large spacious sites with 30 and 50 amp full hookup service and concrete pads. On-site amenities include a private bbq area with a firepit and bathhouses. Stay tuned as they continue to add great amenities with a three-phase plan of construction. The resort is a short distance to Talladega Speedway, perfect for NASCAR racing enthusiasts–camp close to the action and be a short distance from the racetrack.

Located in Chilton County, the geographical center of Alabama, Minooka Park provides a convenient getaway for families. Minooka Park is primarily an ATV/Off-road motorcycle park with miles of trails winding through 420 acres of wooded terrain. Minooka Park also features pavilions, a seven acre fishing pond with a scenic one mile walking trail around the pond, and a RV Campground. The RV Campground has 36 full hookup sites with water, power (30 & 50-amp) and sewage, 4 hook up sites with water & power only, and 2 cabins. Bathhouse and playground facilities are centrally located within the RV Campground. Higgins Ferry Park is the place to be if you love to fish and immerse yourself in an untouched natural terrain. Higgins Ferry is a beautiful county park right in the heart of Alabama, and located just ten miles east of Clanton, which is part of the Coosa River and a premier fishing location for Bass, Crappie, and Catfish. Anglers hold an annual championship right on the docks, so visitors can look forward to that!   Higgins Ferry offers a public boat launch, a pavilion, swimming area, as well as RV and tent camping. The campground also offers 28 full hook-up sites. There’s also a full bathhouse with showers included, and for the kids, there’s a playground area, and a day use area where people can cook out and enjoy the beauty of Lake Mitchell.
