The Lake Mitchell/Higgins Ferry Park is the place to be if you love to fish and immerse yourself in an untouched natural terrain. Higgins Ferry is a beautiful county park right in the heart of Alabama, and located just ten miles east of Clanton, which is part of the Coosa River and a premier fishing location for Bass, Crappie, and Catfish. Anglers hold an annual championship right on the docks, so visitors can look forward to that! Higgins Ferry offers a public boat launch, a pavilion, swimming area, as well as RV and tent camping. The campground also offers 24 full hook-up sites and 4 water and electrical sites. There’s also a full bathhouse with showers included, and for the kids, there’s a playground area, and a day use area where people can cook out and enjoy the beauty of Lake Mitchell. Logan's Pass is conveniently located just 2.0 miles off Interstate 20/59 at exit 73 on Highway 82 east in Tuscaloosa, AL 35405.  All lots are large and shaded with full hookups.  All sites have 30 and 50 amps available.  It is located near Walmart, Sam's Academy Sports, movie theater, restaurants, family entertainment centers. We are conveniently located to the University of Alabama.
