Running through the campground and perfect for a quiet morning fishing is the Rio Fernando de Taos stream, and there's acres and acres of open space for exploring. Canon Bonito RV & Fisherman's Club is a park located near Antonito, Colorado on 39 acres of open space. It features full hookup campsites that are big rig friendly. Many of them are pull through accessible. The park provides free WiFi, allows pets, and has a dump station.   Amenities & Activities Campsite amenities offered include picnic tables, fire circles, and grills. It also includes basic amenities like restrooms with hot showers and laundry facilities. The Coyote Creek State Park is located an hour east of Taos, and is nestled in the Sangre De Cristo mountains. Eagle Nest Lake State Park is located in Eagle Nest on the Enchanted Circle Scenic Byway. Expect a stunning landscape with the incredibly high mountains of the Moreno Valley. The lake is regularly stocked with trout and salmon, and visitors can look forward to ice fishing in the winter. At an 8,300 foot elevation, the campground enjoys mild weather conditions and fresh breezes. As such, fisherman, boaters, campers, hikers and wildlife enthusiasts are commonplace at the park, and an abundance of animals make Eagle Nest Lake an ideal location for wildlife viewing.

The Rio Bravo RV Park is located in Pilar, New Mexico and is great for its proximity to nearby attractions. Take a day trip Taos or Santa Fe and enjoy the southwest culture and historical beauty of these towns, plenty of great local dining, festivals and shopping. Near the park, campers can enjoy the quiet and serenity of bighorn sheep country, as well as breathtaking views around the various hiking trails. 

Located near Eagle's Nest on the scenic Enchanted Circle Byway is Cimarron River, home of the Cimarron Canyon State Park. The area is famous for its majestic trees, and dense forestry. Other than site seeing, visitors can look forward to excellent hiking trails, biking, fly fishing, equestrian trails and picnicking.

At an elevation of over 9,800 feet, Hopewell Lake Campground is filled not only with gorgeous mountain ranges and forestry, but crisp, fresh air. Located between Tres Pierdas and Tierra Amarilla, expect excellent outdoor activities such as horseback riding, hiking and tons of mountain biking. You can also fish for rainbow trout and brook at the 14 acres that makeup Hopewell Lake. Picnicking is another popular activity, and it's even better at dusk when you can enjoy beautiful New Mexico sunsets and star gazing. It's the perfect spot for your next quiet, nature getaway.
