In the spring and summer, play golf at Mountain Glen Golf Course or trek Grandfather Mountain. In the winter, go skiing or snowboarding at Sugar Mountain or Beech Mountain. We are known for the natural beauty that surrounds us (360° view of the mountains), as well as the many streams that pass through the valley. The location is great as not only does it have natural beauty around it, there is a lot of great places that are close by, as eleven miles away you can find the historic Murphy, NC. There are a lot of great sites to choose from with a great selection of amenities that include two separate bathhouses, individual bathing facilities, 3 bunkhouses, a large pavilion with electricity and 20/30/50 amp electric and water sites. There are also plenty of activities to enjoy such as off roading, tubing, hiking, kayaking and more. If you want a great country escape yet be close to the city, then this is the place for you! The excitement of Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series racing comes to Bristol, Tennessee twice a year, and Pole Position Campground puts you in the midst of all the heart-pounding action. Next to the famed Bristol Motor Speedway, Pole Position Campground is an easy walk from the race track. Pole Position offers hundreds of 20’ x 50’ level camping sites available in three tiers. Each site offers full hookups with 50 amp electric service and our campground includes a large bathhouse with full shower facilities.  In 2020, the campground will be open March 30th-April 6th, June 18th - June 22nd, and September 13th-September 20th. Explore the natural beauty of the Tennessee Valley in a pastoral farm setting surrounded by the beauty & grace of llamas.  The Lazy Llama Campground is a unique new family owned and operated campground in Northeast Tennessee.  The campground is part of a 22-acre llama farm which is home to over 40 llamas and various other livestock including miniature donkeys and friendly emus.  It features 31 campsites nestled among several large 40+ year-old maple trees.  Most of the sites are big-rig friendly including six 35' x 75'-100' pull-through accessible. Creekwood is the only RV park in our area that is dedicated to Vacations only, we have no Live-ins or Seasonal campers at all and we are the only Adult only RV park 21+. (We are NOT a Nudist camp) We have paved roads and level concrete sites that can handle up to 45-foot Motor-homes, up to 42-foot 5th wheels, all the way down to small pop-up campers, but we do not offer Tent camping, sorry. Corn Creek is a small campground at the base of Iron Mountain in East Tenn. Located on one of the best rides in Tenn known as the Snake. We have 10 full hook up sites with lots of room for tent campers also. We have just built all new bath house with small office and store on property. We look forward to seeing you soon.
