Heading down south, along I-65 through Tennessee, to I-30 through Arkansas, toward Texarkana and Texas, is Hot Springs, Arkansas. It is one of the most popular ways to head from the north or midwest to Texas, which leads across toward West Texas, New Mexico and Arizona. Hot Spring, Arkansas is one of the most popular destinations to stop and visit during travels. There are plenty of great Hot Springs RV Parks in the area.

The city is named after the Hot Springs it contains in its downtown area. Natural, hot water springs from 47 springs on Hot Springs Mountain, which is in the historic area of downtown Hot Springs. Nearly one-million gallons of hot water flows from the springs every day. Eight bathhouses make up Bathhouse Row, which is a part of Hot Springs National Park. The park is maintained by the National Park Service. Hot Springs is a great place to stop and visit a bathhouse. After a day taking in the springs, head over to one of Hot Springs RV Parks.

Hot Springs is also located in Ouachita National Forest, which offers hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, fishing and hunting. The park offers several wilderness areas and covers nearly two million acres, so there are plenty of places to check out and enjoy.
