There is a recreation site near the town of Cold Lake that allows tent camping! There are 12 sites at the Black Duck Creek Recreation Area, also near the town. The sites are large with plenty of room to park a trailer. There is also an RV dump station and playground.

This park has tent camping, cabin camping, and cabin rentals. The campground’s location is on the banks of the Black Duck Creek with a boat launch, fire pits, picnic tables, a sanitary dump station, and a playground for kids.
