Zane Shawnee Caverns & Southwind Park is located near Bellefontaine, Ohio. It features 60 gravel partial hookup campsites that are big rig friendly. Many of them accommodate slide out RVs. The park allows pets and has a dump station.

This is a wonderful park. Large sites that are very level. Wide gravel roads the pull through sites are easy to navigate. The pedestrian areas are nicely kept grass lawns. A great dog park! We really didn’t expect anything so nice. We were on the way to Red Bay for service. I would have liked staying here another few days to explore Florence and muscle Shoals and the surrounding area. The site is not that far from the Natchez Trace highway.

This was a nicely run and clean camp. It is right next to the highway so we expected the noise. It wasn’t bad for two nights but I was ready to leave after that. We have a 38 foot Class A. The turns in the camp are a tight for an RV of this length. The owners use very large stone to protect the grass. They should rethink the turns, maybe they can’t. Going in and out the trees could use trimming before the branches that tapped my 13’ tall RV cause damage to another’s RV. These are suggestions because really I would stop here again. The folks are nice and the grounds are well kept.
