We stayed two nights, one going to Montana and one coming back. If we could have canceled the second stay we would have. The pool is empty except for all the weeds growing inside. The bathrooms were dirty. Lots of full timers. I’ll never stop there again

Affordable. Although small, it has nice facilities. Staff is very friendly

Site was supposed to be 50 amp it was only 30. The road we were supposed to be able to drive on to pull through was blocked with snow we had to back in.

Campground Response

We are sorry you were unhappy. Site 10 is a double 30, the office is closed but if you need a splitter Woody would be happy to help you or move you to an alternative site.

Great park, well managed, nice amenities. Great location, close to the interstate but not close enough to hear the interstate traffic. Lots of trees and shade.

Older rv park but served its purpose. Lots of full time renters. Staff very friendly. Noisy as it is between 2 highways.

This campground was not what we expected and I wouldn't recommend it. There were campers shoved in spots where they weren't supposed to be and that limited the access to the roads through the campgrounds. We had to be very careful when going in and out and leaving with the camper hooked on was difficult. It was run down and not very well maintained. Fortunately, we will never have to stay here again. The only good thing we can say is that the office manager was nice.

Bathhouse (mens) not very clean. Litter not picked up on the grounds (empty plastic water bottles, etc.). 30 amp receptacle not working on site 63. Luckily the 50 amp receptacle was and I was able to use that one.

Our reservation that was made 6 months in advance was given to another camper and we were left with an inferior spot that was soft, unlevel, and didn't fit our camper. The guy did check on us after we parked but didnt change the fact that our visit was disappointing.

Campground needs remodeling in ladies restroom. Pool had weeds growing in bottom of pool. Overall look of park is old and neglected. Pass this one up.

Very sad this campground is so run down. Alot of full-time and they just park their vehicle in the road making it very hard to drive thru not to mention parking right at your front door instead of using their own parking space. Bathrooms hadn't been cleaned in a while. Noticed it up for sale so good luck with that. Pool was disgusting and alot if very run down campers.

Nice guy but campground is a little ran down needs some work! Looks like a lot of the people live there full time. Our site was the most unlevel site we have ever had.

AVOID this place if you can. I was so glad our spot was near the edge as it was claustrophobic - absolutely packed tight with live-ins. It literally looked like they were shaken in a jar, dumped out, and hooked up where they landed. Almost non-existent wifi signal. We got out of there as fast as we could in the morning.

Sites are extremely close and put in at all angles. Just not for us

Great overnight stay. Wish we had more time to have checked it out. Lady at check in was so friendly and courteous. No problems with our 6am checkout - we had an 8 hour travel day ahead of us. Campground was family friendly (lots of kids playing having a good time) but it was quiet. Looks like there are many permanent or seasonal guests. So again thankful to get a nice long pull through with full hookups. Thank you Windmill RV Park!

A quiet place, Woody is very nice and helpful. Sites are real close together but it works. Most of the people there work on a pipe line and none are permanent residents. I would recommend for a quick stop over.

Quiet site, Site was hard to keep level as the ground did not have a lot of rock for support. a lot of old trees needing trimming, they were however trimming the trees as the site opens up. A lot of fire pits, they remodeled the kid's area while we were there. Lost electricity for a few hours and had to replace a fuse afterward, and we have a brand new camper. Bathrooms were not clean and the laundry was not as well. Overall great for the price, needs a little TLC.

The park was clean and quiet. The employees were extremely helpful. One if the best experiences we've had in a campground.

Owner and staff are friendly. The campground is more geared toward adults and transient workers. The playground equipment is covered with moss on the boards and needs some boards fixed. The pool is not functional. We didn't use the shower house or laundry. We didn't like that our power, water and sewer were on the wrong side of the camper in our patio area.

Campground Response

Since you left at the end of July, we have completely redone the playground equipment and have added items to it. The pool has not been functional for over 10 years and will not be rehabbed. Beresford city has a beautiful newer pool and we offer pool passes to campers if they request them.

I was very disappointed in the campgrounds, no picnic table and no fire pit. The campgrounds for the price was unacceptable. They need to put money into the campgrounds. Very disappointed.

We recently stayed at the windmill camp ground. There was many weeds around. The sites were quite small. The cost was $48 a night. We did have conversation with the owner and he was extremely nice and helpful. He informed us it has only been opened 2 years after being closed for 10 years. The pool had no water in it and needed repair.. For $48 a night I thought the cost was a little high for what what it was like.
