We are conveniently located 1/4 mile east of Allison, Iowa on Highway 3.
Our amenities include two fishing ponds, a dog park, 18-hole frisbee disc golf, sand volleyball, two playgrounds, picnic shelters, pickle ball court, BMX pump track, large in-ground chess/checkers board, Wilder Mountain, intra-park hard surfaced walking/biking trail connected to Rolling Prairie Trail, 18-acre wildflower prairie, forest, severe storm shelters, two library kiosks, entertainment stage with free summer concerts and on-site camp host.
Occasional Friday night food trucks and Saturday morning coffee truck.

NO PETS & NO SMOKING ALLOWED. Check-in is after 3 pm, and check-out is by 11 am. Linens and towels are not supplied. Beds should not be used without bedding or sleeping bags. Bedding is available for rent at the park for $25 per bed for the length of your stay or you may bring your own. By renting the Cabin, you are agreeing to follow the checkout list provided in the cabin; this includes taking out all garbage, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming. You will ensure the bathroom and kitchen are clean when you check out. If you have rented bedding, beds should be stripped and bedding placed in a pile by the door. A checklist is provided in the cabin on the wall by the door. Please leave the cabin better than you found it for the next camper. Cleaning supplies are supplied. Thank you.

All registrations must be booked through our online system. If you need help navigating VisitWilderPark.com, your camp host can help you make a reservation. Reservations can only be made for up to 14 days in one site. If you would like to stay longer and are not in a prearranged contractor site, you will need to move to a different stop with in the park. **When you arrive at the park, STOP AND CHECK IN WITH YOUR CAMP HOST BEFORE PROCEEDING TO YOUR CAMPSITE OR UNHOOKING. YOU WILL NEED TO PICK UP YOUR RESERVATION CARD FROM THE CAMP HOST. If you have not pre-registered, you must register with the camp host BEFORE choosing a site or unhooking. Your camp host can help you find an open reservation. All campers must have the reserved sign or their camp receipt displayed on the signpost before unhooking.
10:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. daily is the camps' quiet hours. STRICTLY ENFORCED. All non register camping guests must exit the park by 11:00 p.m.
All vehicles should be parked at least 5 feet off the road in campsite areas to allow large vehicles to pass "One vehicle per campsite." Extra vehicles, oversized trucks, boats, all trailers, and any 4x4s/ UTVs need to be parked in the main parking lot.
To keep the camping area enjoyable to all, extra vehicles, including 4x4s and Golf cart/ATV/UTV trailers need to be parked in the main parking lot and not in the camping area. Oversized trucks will also be asked to park in the main parking lot. No trailers or vehicles may be left in the camping park after check-out time. If you choose to leave something behind after your check-out time it must be in the main parking lot and we are not responsible for its safety.
Golf Carts are allowed in the park and may be used ONLY on hard surface roads from SUNRISE to SUNSET. Use inside the park is restricted to streets ONLY. Golf Carts are NOT allowed on the bike trails, woods, grassy areas or park service areas through the tent area. (Maintenance and camp hosts are exempt) 4x4s need to be parked in the main parking lot and not at your campsite. Drivers must possess a valid driver's license. All other state laws apply to motorized vehicle operations. (IA Code 321.247) Violators will be reported to local authorities. Golf Carts and UTVs must follow the 10 mph speed limit and the 10 pm quiet time in the park. ATV/ MINI BIKES are not allowed in the city parks (Code of Iowa, Sec. 321I.14[1h])
Check-in for cabins is after 3 pm Check-out is by 11 am NO PETS AND NO SMOKING IN THE CABINS. Bedding and Towels are NOT provided but can be rented for $25 per bed for the length of your stay. Scout Cabin sleeps 7 (2 full-size beds, 2 twins and 1 trundle), Eagle Cabin sleeps 6 (1 full-size bed and 3 twins and 1 twin trundle), Cabin 1 sleeps 5 ( two full-size beds and 1 twin and 1 trundle) and Cabin 2 (no water) sleeps 4 (1 full-size bed, one upper twin and one lower futon). You must complete the cleaning checklist when you leave - Cleaning supplies are provided. If the cleaning checklist is not completed or the cabin is left a mess or damaged, you will be charged a cleaning fee of $50. The cabin must be occupied by at least one adult over 21 at all times. Cabins need to be reserved and paid for by credit card online before arrival.
We love pets, and well-behaved pets are welcome in the camp area. We are a city park, and city ordinances apply _ your pet must be on a leash at all times, not to exceed 6 feet in length. Pet owners are responsible for picking up all dog droppings immediately. (Do not dispose of pet dropping in the fire pits) NO PETS ARE ALLOWED IN THE CABINS OR THE LODGE AT ANY TIME.
Rugs can be used on the gravel. Nothing may be attached to the trees; no hammocks, tents, clotheslines, etc.

Please do not put cans, bottles, garbage, dog feces, or other materials in the fire rings!!!! Do not move fire rings; all fires must be contained in the provided fire rings and never left unattended. Firewood is available for purchase at the camp entrance. (Your donation for the firewood helps support local Boy Scout troops) NO CUTTING WOOD FROM THE PARK TREES!
