The White Horse Lake is located in the beautiful town of Williams, Arizona and is a great spot for an outdoor adventure. At an elevation of over 6,600 feet, campers can look forward to cool temperatures as they head to the water for excellent fishing, boating, swimming, canoeing and kayaking, as well as the nearby Bearizona Wildlife Park for wildlife viewing. With only a short drive, many thrill-seekers head out to the Historic Route 66 Zipline adventure or go hiking at the Great Western Trail and Bill Williams Mountain. For the winter-enthusiasts, the Elk Ridge Ski Area is a great spot for sledding, snowshoeing and skiing, or just laying on top of one of the peaks for some stellar stargazing. The campground is about an hour from the Grand Canyon National Park, and so travelers can look forward to breathtaking views of the geological wonder as well as hiking, climbing, mountain biking and river rafting.
