Spent last winter here and were very disappointed. Internet is a nightmare and the laundry mat had almost all broken machines. To many rude Canadians who seem to think they run the place. The pool is nice when it's open and not freezing. Alot of stray dogs and cats in the area which is kind of dirty and run down. The weather was nice most of the time, other then that, a run down dump of a resort.

Been here six years and watched it go from a five star resort down to a two star. Rates have gone up every year. Been told they where fixing the internet so that's why they increased the rent. Well they haven't fixed it yet. Half the time no internet. Or so slow you can't watch any streaming service. FaceTime with the kids and get cut off all the time. Reboot at least twice a day . And then you pay a deposit on equipment and then never get your money back. Get told one price then when you get there they charge you more . Even if you have email with the price from them . Always an excuse for everything. The office staff is rude. And need a lesson on customer service. Good luck if you ever go there. I would stay away.

Approx. 1/2 way between McAllen & Harlingen is this 5 star Encore resort. Friendly, helpful, clean, large sites, pet friendly. A lot of Winter Visitors from Oct. to April. The website describes is very well. We really enjoyed this park and hope to return - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
