The campground road is aweful. Filling it in with wood chips is not going to fix all the deep holes and the playground should be upgraded, it is dangerous for the kids to be on it. Always have a good time but it needs some upgrading.

We pulled in and found no showers or running water in the bathroom. When I booked the campground the website said that there were showers. Didn't see any, and the vault toilets were dirty and full of flies. We didn't stay and couldn't even get ahold of anyone to ask about it. Also can't get out money back either. That's pretty bad.

Campground Response

I am so sorry you could not find me on the property. as I am the only employee here, I am always doing something. I clean the cabins; I mow all the property, so I am not in the office often. I knew you were coming in and I will always find time for new guest to great and answer any questions you may have had. I could have told you where the shower was and addressed any other concerns. I checked the outhouses and yes, they were not as clean as could be, they were not full of flies. Unless you were looking at the fly strip that is there to kill them. If you would have just given a little time, I would have made your visit a good experience.
