Nice, convenient park in Laverne. Worked well for our time there in October 2022. Very quick response from owner if you need anything.

Greatest part was the chat with C.G, the owner! He helped us re-connect with Laverne after 48 years! He was too young to remember us, but he helped us with the history! Quiet spot!

Campground Response

I enjoyed meeting you and talking about Laverne. It was a blessing for me and my family.

If there was a zero star I would give it out! This was not an RV park and it was a mud pit in the middle of the slums! The one other RV in the so called park was ancient and so dirty the brand was unrecognizable! We left almost immediately and drove to another RV park. I would NOT recommend this RV to my worst enemy! Heed my warning, it is nasty!

Unless you know someone in Laverne, OK., this little town is not a destination. We arrived on a Sunday evening and the only things in town that were open were the gasoline/diesel/convenience store and the Dollar General. I actually found it refreshing that everyone else was literally having a day of rest, but that’s just me. As for Tumbleweed Park, it was what I expected: adequate for a one night stay. The sites are super long and can be either back-in or pull-through. The utilities (50ampE/W/S) were all conveniently located and in great working order. There are some trees but, most of the sites are open, giving you use of a satellite dish. There are no fire pits, rather dilapidated picnic tables, and no restrooms. When I say it is a barebones park, it really is. The owner came by to check in on us as we were setting up, which was nice. If you are in the area and need a place for the night, Tumbleweed RV Park is not a bad choice. We would stay again.
