The Trailhead equestrian Campground, popular among horseback riders across Texas, is located in Bandera - it's a great place for an authentic southern vacation. Near the campground are a number of unique, local attractions such as the Bandera City Park, Frontier Times Museum and Bandera Natural History Museum. Nature-lovers flock to this area each year to enjoy the Hill Country State Natural Area for scenic viewing, hiking, biking and exploring.
