The Trade Winds RV Resort is an adult camping community located in the beautiful Texas town of Mission, and is a great spot for an authentic southern escape. Onsite, campers can enjoy great golf, hiking, outdoor swimming, biking and shuffleboard, as well as plenty of scheduled group fun. Just beyond the campground are a number of excellent attractions for visitors and locals alike to enjoy. Some camper favorites include: Bentsen-Rio Grande Valley State Park for hiking, biking and birding, the McAllen Nature Center, Old Hidalgo Pumphouse Museum, World Birding Center, Bentsen-Rio Grande Valley State Park and the National Butterfly Center. There's also the La Lomita Mission, Mission Historical Museum and the The Butterfly Garden At Oleander Acres. And of course, campers can take advantage of the area's excellent local eateries, breweries and pubs.
