Three Springs Campground is nestled in the beautiful foothills of the Appalachian Mtns and boasts a protected ecosystem. All of our RV Camping sites feature grass lawns, shade trees, a picnic table, a fire pit, 20/30/50 amp sites, water, and WiFi. Life is so much better around a campfire! Come see why we are so highly recommended. While you are here, don't forget to visit the new Ark Encounter, just 10 miles north of the campground. Also available are our Tent Sites, Camper/RV Rentals, and Rustic Cabins. Our newest cabins are both larger bunkhouses that combined will sleep up to 36 guests! Start your next adventure here!

We are a family/pet-friendly campground, with healthy outdoor activities such as a new playground for the kids (Spring 2023), a fishing pond, hiking trails, and much more. Whether it's a short 2-3 night stay or something a bit longer, we are happy to have you stay with us!

***Just a quick note: our swimming pool will not reopen due to storm damage in 2018. We are sorry for this inconvenience however the local water park in Georgetown, KY is just 15 mins away and offers almost 18,000 square feet of fun in the water and they are super affordable! Call for more details. Check back here or on our website for pictures of the new areas being added for the season like our New Dog Park (2023) and New Playground (2023). Groups are welcome however we do not currently accept online reservations for groups. If you're traveling with friends and family please call us before reserving so we can ensure that you are mapped correctly and that we have the availability to accommodate your needs.***

See my pictures on TripAdvisor (I deleted them from my phone after posting the review). If they're not going to repair and reopen the pool, they need to fill it in! It is DISGUSTING!!! IMO, this should have been the TOP item to fix! The shower house is nice, though the shower heads are too big for the tiny shower enclosures. The dump is placed VERY inconveniently. WHY they would allow people (or it may have been the management themselves!) to fly huge political flags in their itty bitty "yards" is beyond me. Maybe it's a new, weird business plan, where they only want people with one point of view to stay there? I thought people camped to see nature, not what others' political views were. The name "Three Springs" is pretty idyllic sounding, but what runs through between the campers looks more like a ditch to me. I won't stay here again, even though it was convenient. Just YUCK!

Rustic but perfect. This is not a resort, but it is extremely family friendly. Bathrooms very clean. The staff and owners are very nice, friendly and helpful.

Our 4th stay and first while experiencing the Ark. The new owners are great and it appears that some great additions are in store as well.

Absolute worst and we've been traveling by RV for 30 years. Very saddened to have even paid for this site. Very noisy d/t "campground host's" being in next site whose children were borderline intrusive on our area. Dog waste receptacle overflowing with additional waste being left on the ground. Firepit unusable....full of walnuts and on wrong side of site. Dump station inaccessible from exit direction and no flush hose. Told upon check in to boil our water d/t water shut off. Couldn't get out of there quick enough to try to save our roof from damage d/t falling walnuts. All of this after driving through the most unsightly neighborhood I've ever seen.

Very tight parking after you park your RV. I had to park sideways on the grass because there was no room in my camping site for my tow vehicle. I was not able to get the TV channels to come in, all I could get were pixelated viewing. There’s somebody driving around on a golf cart all day so I think it would be helpful for that person to pick up garbage set at the end of each campsite instead of the campers having to drive it to the dumpster every day. The bathroom was clean and kept up every day and there’s always somebody driving around if you need any help with anything. My site was very quiet. Because there’s only one dump station for the campground, I had to wait in line to dump upon departure.

Very pretty park with easy access to the Ark Encounter. Getting in and out of the park is using a pretty steep hill, but manageable. Our site was pretty tight, but that is the only negative for us. We would stay at Three Springs again if we are ever in that area again.

Wonderful. Cute, quaint, secluded. You actually feel like you’re in the middle of the woods away from everything. And with the distance to the ark encounter, no contest. Best camp ground I’ve ever been to.

Nice clean campground. Good T mobile service. Sites were a little short. Dump station was in a weird place. You blocked traffic at entrance to dump. I still gave a 5 even with those concerns. Attractions were close by

This was the experience we had this summer. I hope you make changes. I wanted to write to you about our experience. Our experience started with wanting to bring another person with us and I was told I had to notify you two weeks ahead of our stay. I was told this was policy. Not wanting to cause a problem I did call within the next day or two of speaking with you and paid for another person. I did email asking you to consider waiting until my friend was able to find out from her doctor if she could travel. You never got back to me so I paid. Also charging adult prices for an 8,9,and 10 year old is ridiculous but I knew this upfront. Also I did not see in your policy that I had to notify you about an extra person 2 weeks ahead, unless you have now revised it because I did go back and look. I did see that a cancellation had to be 2 weeks ahead, which is typical. You only put linen on enough beds for the amount of people staying, which is ok except if the extra person I paid for had come there wouldn’t have had bed linen. Never have I rented a cabin that holds up to 16 people that didn’t have a toilet. Maybe I missed this information somewhere, and to be told it had a dry toilet and we could go to Walmart and buy a portable one for $20 was again ridiculous especially since the dry bathroom has carpet. You really should describe the cabin better. And don’t forget the walk to the bathroom is down hill on a county road. Which brings up that we couldn’t park near the cabin to unload. The bathrooms first smelled like cigarette smoke. Second we were told that we should plan our showers around the busy morning time as we may otherwise run out of hot water. Well there 9 of us and we went at all times, early morning and late night and 3 people got partial warm showers once. And the fire wood, we paid for 3 bundles and got maybe 2 . The guy delivering it said he owed us a few pieces but never brought it. Also repeatedly instructing us to be sure not to accidentally take the linens or we would have to airmail it back and to go on and on about what other campers did wrong was very unprofessional. I’m also still wondering where the “new in 2023” playground is, maybe I just missed it. This was an unpleasant experience. Holli Grage

Very friendly. The women's bathroom ran out of paper towels. One of the showers was broken and one of the showers the water backed up and flooded the shower area.

New owners are very nice. Lots of computer glitches, much confusion to work out. Could be a very nice park with some improvements for example, the pool area is an eye sore. The “catch and release “ pond is disgusting. Nicer fire pits would be great. Many of the picnic tables need to be replaced.

The campground staff are friendly and ownership recently changed from what I was told at check-in, Sept 2023. The road off the highway is a narrow, residential road into the campground. Inside the campground, there are two, very narrow concrete bridges with no rails or markers that you have to cross when entering/exiting the sites. Sites are close together. Site depth was bare minimum for our 38' motorhome to back in and is a rock/gravel, sloped site. Rock was not compacted and dirt below was wet. When setting up, our rear jacks pushed the pads through the rock and into wet ground. We were on site B-8 and stayed two nights. No plans to return.

Great little park with new ownership. Lots of trees; most of the sites are level. Large rig friendly. Friendly and helpful check in staff. We would certainly stay there again.

Lovely campground in beautiful setting. Small campground but good site space for our 36' fifth wheel. My dog and I enjoyed hiking the trails and small creek. Friendly staff. Was sorry we had to leave Sunday morning and missed their church service.

The park is located convenient to I-75 but feels distant. It is in a small valley with many trees, lots of grass, and a small stream that passes through the park. The roads and sites are gravel and are mostly level. The scene along the narrow approach road does not prepare you for the beautiful setting of the park. We were there only one night but would definitely return if in the area.

Campground Response

Thank you for staying with us, Thomas! We appreciate your kind words and your taking the time to describe our campground so others will know what to expect once they arrive! Safe travels and happy campin'! -Rachael

Very clean, quiet campground. Most guests seemed to be visitors to the Ark Experience, staying only 1 or 2 nights so there's lots of movement, but everyone was quiet going in and out, late nights or early mornings so we barely noticed people were coming and going so frequently. We tent camped in an RV site for the electric, but the primitive sites looked really good! I'd definitely come back to stay here, but would take a tent site for just for the lack of "next door neighbors". The owners were very nice and were frequently present in the campground, greeting people as they were coming and going, picking up random trash (did I mention it was very clean?), taking/delivering wood and just chatting. The bathrooms were clean although I did not use the shower area so I can't comment on the water pressure, etc. And finally, there were short trails through the woods originating from the camping areas. It was the perfect place to walk my dog in the morning - she doesn't like "doing her business" in public and I was grateful for the lack of distraction - like all puppies, she has ADD and is easily distracted by other dogs, kids, interesting smells, etc! But be forewarned - nearly every trail in the campground starts with an UP! A great place to stay if you are going to the Ark and/or Creation Museum or just looking for a quiet place to relax for a couple days.
