This RV Park changed ownership at the beginning of 2014 and is now a family run park that is open year round. My husband and I have stayed here several times in the past year in our 41 foot motorhome and really enjoy it. It is peaceful and has beautiful scenery, with many trees, a small pond (with fishing allowed) and a gazebo with room for gatherings. There are 6 pull through sites with gravel that are level, 4 have 50 amp electricity available, all have 30 amp available, five of the 6 have full hookups, the other just has electricity and water. There are 19 other sites that are pull-in/back-in with some having 30 amps and full hookups, and some having just electricity and water or just electricity. All sites have fire rings and picnic tables, and some can be used for tent camping as well as RV camping. They also have some units set up to rent for people needing a place to stay that don't have their own unit, or there is a neighbor that rents cabins. There is Wi-Fi available, and they are working to improve the signal to all corners of the park. There is a bathhouse, a "washateria" (laundry), and a playground for the children. There is a cave, Hicks Cave, that can be explored with permission. Across from the RV Park is the Laura Ingalls Wilder Historic Home and Museum, and annually during September Mansfield celebrates Wilder days. Each summer the Ozark Mountain Players presents "Laura's Memories", an outdoor musical pageant based on the life of Laura Ingalls Wilder. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
