Before you decide to stay here for a winter, please stay a week in the park with your RV and see what all goes on. You will want to go to a different Park!!! The Rec board is very unfriendly, they pick and choose who they want to speak with and avoid the rest in the park. There a lot of drama in park between the people on the board and the older people who at one time was on the board. Park pictures are old and park does not look like the pictures that are posted. People in the Alphabet get more privilege's than the rest of people in park. Example bond fires are not allowed in park and they have bond fires (manager Dee even attends the parties, and does not enforce the rules and enforce quite hours as well) parties to midnight and after, people are sitting out in the street at some of the parties. The parties are just about every night. Have a water leak some where in park and kept raising water cost to residents, instead of finding the leak and taking care of issues. Water would be shut off and not informed and you get caught in the shower or washing your clothes or dishes. There a lot of drama in the park of people said so and so said this and that, when that person did not even say one word about the issues. Park is dirty and needs a lot of work to the grounds, and lots. IF you like being right next to your neighbor and shaking their hand while you are sleeping in your RV this is the place for you. Most lots for RV do not have cement pad, just have grass that has sand burrs in the grass and gets into you home. NO SWIMMING POOL at the park!!! Activities really do not start until some time in January. Some time there was crafts and most of the time there was no crafts when they were scheduled. Caller for bingo may show or may not show. Activity are very limited in park. The Jam is VERY VERY old county music and not very good music to sit and listen to. Always asking for cookie for Jam and what cookie or donuts left over would be put in freezer for the next week to use in case they didn't receive any cookie. Funny thing is the Rec board or people who lives in the park does not even support their own Jam. Please think real hard before you decide to stay at J-5. There are other 55+ RV parks in the Valley that are much better, cleaner ground and more activities. Park is a 55+ park but they have people under 55 staying in the park with no one over 55 in the unit. What you are paying for is what you are getting for your money!!!

High rent and additional cost and endless complex problems and issues are just a part of this extremely bad area. The lord Jesus Christ is our savior, Amen

We will be arriving in J-5 in early December for our 11th winter escaping the Saskatchewan winters. J-5 is a very friendly park with less than 200 sites. Activities are available if you wish to participate. Come and join us where we have cattle, horses and orchards for neighbours.
