We stayed here through March and, because there are no other suitable campgrounds with RV hookups in the Helena area, we are staying here for the month of April to get some affairs in order before pulling out. I pray we can leave by the end of April. We pay $505 a month as the winter rate, with a Good Sam's Club discount. They charge us an extra $100 for having children, but there are no amenities for children in the park. There is no playground and, since they don't enforce the speed limit at all, there is really no place to ride bikes. The children are bored. Though they mention "area attractions" on their site, they are far away from town and any attractions. There is a long list of rules when you get there, but they do not enforce any of them. We have had a neighbor who has her dog defecating all over several of the back in spots. She never cleans it up, nor does she take her dog to the dog walk, as requested in the rules. She piles bags of garbage outside her RV and takes it to the dumpster, a mere 20 feet away, about once every two weeks. Last week there were more than 10 bags of garbage outside before she got rid of it. On top of that, since the weather here drops so low at night, our RV is not de-winterized. We have been using their shower and restroom facilities. There have been several times that my boys have gone over to take showers that the bathroom is full of crap (literally) and smells like it. The toilets are plugged and sometimes even running over onto the floor. The shower stalls are covered in feces and mucus. Sometimes, we just have to skip showers until after they bother to clean them. I have gone over several times where the toilets are overflowing and filled with crap (literally). There are absolutely NO garbage cans in the stalls in the women's bathroom, so you must carry any sanitary items to the sink area around the corner. The lights in the bathroom cannot be set to stay on, so in the middle of a shower, they just go out and leave you in the dark. I highly recommend taking a lamp with you to the shower ladies. Overall, I think over $500 for a barren, rocky wasteland of property and disgusting facilities is robbery. Trouble is, the other two campgrounds in the area are crawling with registered sex offenders. My advice is just to keep driving to another town where you might find nice facilities at a reasonable rate. Keep in mind these rates are the winter rates and go up by $100 next month. I suppose I was hoping that, after numerous complaints to management, things might get better the second month. I was so terribly wrong. The dog next door is still tied out most of each day, defecating all over two different RV spots and barking anytime anyone pulls through. Of course, I discovered quickly why this lady didn't feel it necessary to follow the book of rules provided by the RV park as the manager of the park decided to leash his dog and specifically walk him to my paid for RV spot and have it take a crap directly next to my vehicle. Then he walked away without bothering to clean up after his dog at all. Ah, no wonder people don't follow the rules....it's implied that they do not have to by the manager's own behavior. I will be leaving next week and, to be honest, the next time I'm in Helena, I can guarantee that I will NOT be staying here. It's really disappointing considering if they bothered at all to care, it could be a really nice place. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group

This campground is located about 8 miles north of Helena. It is one of the closest campgrounds to the city of Helena. The restrooms were clean and had plenty of hot water and pressure for the shower. It is a pretty basic campground, but is well kept. I will stay here again. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
