The campground was newly mowed and looked pristine. Our reserved spot was very nice and quiet. We witnessed beautiful sunsets from our site, and also pretty sunrises across the street on a small beachfront. The full moon rising was a treat also. We heard dogs and children once in a while, but disruptive noises were never an issue. The bathrooms were very clean and comfortable. Our contact with Tammy and Michael the owners was brief and pleasant. We visited Goodsell Ridge and Fisk Quarry by bicycle to view the fossil mounds which are amazing to see. There is a lot of history of Isle La Motte for visitors to learn- overall: I recommend Sunset Rock RV Park as a nice, clean and comfortable place to stay while visiting the island.

Excellent weekend at Sunset Rock RV Park. The owner was very friendly and welcoming, encouraged our participation in the weekend BBQ and music. Nice location, beautiful with all the water. Bathhouses were clean and the lots were spacious. A must stay if you are looking for a spot in the Islands. A little piece of heaven.

Great camp ground with new owners of 2 years. This is the first time I camped here. Owners were great making sure your stay is memorable. Lots were very spacious with lots of amenities for kids and adults. Very clean park. I biked the isle, it is my favorite one of all so far. I definitely will be back again!!

We stayed just the weekend, this RV Park is geared toward visitors staying all season (they have the whole area near the lake). Our site was up the hill a bit, roomy and grassy, with electric and water hookups. There is lake access near the seasonal section but no parking so we drove our motorhome a 1/2 mile to the boat ramp and paddled from there. Paddling was excellent and it’s a beautiful area. Staff was very nice and helpful. My only real complaint is that there was karaoke going on from about 7pm until after 10- and it was LOUD!

The owners are great people. We enjoyed our stay even if was only for a couple days. We were able to relax and have friends over who came from NY. The neighbors were a little noisy the first day but fine the second. We'd recommend this to anyone looking for a friendly place near the lake.

Only thing I'd have to complain about is the fire pit barrels in the tent camping area are to tall to be able to cook on and should be lowered, Otherwise we had a great time. Beautiful grounds and clean facilities.

This campground was awesome! This year was the first time coming and we will probably be back next year. The grounds were mowed and kept very nice! Everything is so clean. It’s next to lake Champlain. They have a boat launch and allow golf carts. This is 85% percent seasonal campground so I would assume sites go quick. The new owners introduced themselves to everyone they didn’t know. Super nice people! And the seasonal campers were very nice as well. If we were in the market for a seasonal this would be the place we would go. See ya next year!
