I am working in the area for a extended period of time and called and talked to Mike(owner/host)about reservations. After multiple phone conversations with him he told me he could accommodate me and would be in touch for final details. I was passing by the park and just wanted to check it out so I rode through(wrong thing to do). Park is kept very well and looked very inviting, but then there was Mike! As I was exiting the park a man was waiting for me, sitting on a golf cart, smoking a cigarette near the park exit. I stopped and rolled down my window and he abruptly asked me if I could read. I explained I could read and told him who I was and that we had spoken on the phone multiple times and was just checking out the park. He again insulted my intelligence by asking me if I could read because he had just installed a new sign that was large enough for everyone to read, he thought! The sign said only park guest allowed in park, or something like that! He then went on a rant about I should have stopped at office and so on and so forth. At this point his phone rang and he said “see here this is probably a guest complaining about strange vehicles in park!” After that I told him to remove my reservation and he wouldn’t be getting any of my money! With all that, nice park but owner ruins it in my book! Would not recommend this place to anyone and stay away if might want a guest or friend to stop by unannounced!
