The grounds are nice and has great WiFi but the work campers that run this place are like robots. No emotion and couldn't care less about issues. The garbage over the weekend and Monday morning was awful...piled everywhere around and on top of dumpster. No cable TV and antenna reception isn't that great from Chicago (no CBS). It is, however, the only decent park around and they could care less.

Only game in town. No discounts of any type offered. Privately run park. We had a pull thru buddy site with our friends - our doors opened to each other and shared a concrete patio, which was nice for getting together outside and visiting. Sites were level and concrete. Large pool. The campground was nice and clean and full of seasonal campers. There were not that many sites for transient campers like us. Totally family oriented with playground for kids. Nicely landscaped grounds. Sewer placement can require extra hose depending on where your hookups are located. For the nightly rate, I thought they should have cable TV, but they did not. The park was very convenient to get on the train for day trips into Chicago - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
