Paul apparently passed away last October. Now his place is closed. Despite the fact that he kicked me out for no reason at all I'm sad to hear of his passing. However I have meant to share my experience there, and now I may as well do it. As a campground owner he was not very friendly at times and did not promote a family friendly environment. He allowed several migrant workers to party on a regular basis, cracking whips, getting boats stuck in the creek (and spending all night making noise trying to unstick them). I heard guns shooting throughout the night on weekends. People would be drunk and passed out by the waters edge in chairs and a couple of long term residents there as well as myself tried to rouse the drunk to get them inside their unit. He wouldn't move and 3 of us couldn't lift him. Someone stole an entire basket of my towels from the laundry room and I never complained about any of this. I never bothered my neighbors as I am a little introverted. I maintained my yard, landscaped it and cleaned the laundry room just because I wanted to help and care for the place I was living. I was never once late with my lot rent in 2 years. I was asked to leave for no reason at all. Out of nowhere, I "had to go" as he said. There are plenty of decent places to stay as a migrant worker or family. This was not one of them.

He does have a laundry facility. He will allow children, but if you don’t control your children he will kick you out. There is water there for fishing and boating. Kids can drowned if let to run loose. He’s protecting himself from law suits from parents not doing their job. He will take care of any pork lens you have. He will give you a place to stay, long term if you need it. Need money, he’ll put you to work. Drugs? He will not put up with drugs on his property. I’ve stayed there off and on for five years as a full time rv’r.

Wish I could give negative stars.... I DO NOT RECOMMEND Paul’s!!!! My husband works in Newport. He got a spot at Paul’s. My kids and I went to visit my husband for 4 days. Hubby got there on a Wednesday, kids and I got there on a Monday, we were kicked out by the end of the week.he never asked how many people would be there. He charged us 400.00 because of the kids.(for a week) We were all kicked out because he didn’t want the kids there. (Ages 7,5,2,1) they didn’t cause any trouble, were never outside with out supervision. He’s just a cranky old man who needs Jesus.
