Had to update my review to put this at the very top. DO NOT COME HERE. Read the rest of my review!!! The manager, Chris is a bitter old coot. I don’t know what crawled up his behind, but he has no idea how to treat paying customers. Every one star review here is evidence of that, yet he still always makes himself the victim. Our sewage port on our site was too tight to open by hand so I went to the “manager’s house” to ask for a wrench or to have someone get it open for us. Every RV park I’ve ever been to (and I’ve been to many) has a manager who lives onsite and the guests are always welcome to approach their residence if they need something. THAT’S THE POINT OF THEM LIVING ONSITE. So I walked onto the porch of Chris’s mobile home. I opened the screen door slightly to so that I could knock on the door itself. I also rang the doorbell. Then I walked back to the driveway to wait. He took a while. Long enough that I called the actual office to ask for help. While I was on the phone with them, Chris came out and started chewing me out. “WHY ARE YOU ON MY PORCH!!?” I told him the story and asked if he was the manager. Instead of answering or helping, he kept demanding “WHY ARE YOU ON MY PORCH!!?” It’s a nice enough park but Chris made the whole experience terrible. If you can’t treat paying customers with even the most basic decency, then retire and relocate your garbage mobile home elsewhere. UPDATE: We were so dismayed and disgusted with the treatment here that we decided to eat the cost and go elsewhere. We just felt “dirty” staying there after seeing the way these people operate their business. We went into the office to tell them we were leaving and express our discontent. As luck would have it, Chris himself was in the office this time instead of the girl. He accused me of lying, because I told the girl he “yelled at me”. Chris, I may or may not have said you yelled. I honestly don’t recall. Either way, that’s not really the point. You rudely and aggressively accosted a paying guest, which is no better than yelling. Chris also says that he “has me on camera opening his screen door”. SO WHAT??? That’s how you knock on a door that has a metal screen in front of it, psycho. Chris and I have a bit of a back and forth. It ends with Chris telling us to get out and saying he would physically assault me. Oh and this all happens in front of another customer who was checking in. Something seriously messed up happened to Chris in the past. No one sane behaves that way with no provocation. Chris is insane and not fit to deal with customers at an RV park which is kind of the lowest responsibility you could possibly have in a job. A better fit for Chris may be an asylum of some sort. Preferably something with soft walls and grippy socks. FURTHER UPDATE: I’ve done more research on TripAdvisor. Google is not the place for the real picture about this guy. It has some honest reviews, yes. But check TripAdvisor. It is FULL, I mean overflowing with horrifying stories about Chris. He is a confirmed psychopath drunk who has had the cops called on him, stolen from guests, damaged guests property, etc. We also checked records on Chris and he has records of arrest for assault and assault (I’m assuming on park guests) and assault on police officers within Santa Rosa. In addition he has many court records. This dude is legit UNHINGED and he 100% will hurt someone, maybe kill them in the coming years. STAY AWAY!!! And under no circumstances should you ever give this creep your money. Don’t just trust me. Look at the reviews, please!
3/24/2025Jason, The sewer pipes that have threaded caps are not to be removed. There was a hinged sewer drop right in front of that. That's why we would not give you a wrench. You were on the prod for a fight from the gate. Even when you stepped foot in the office, yelling and interrupting a Guest check in. You're GF holding you back by the waist was the cutest. All of this encounter will be posted to my TikTok account and people can see how you acted. I'm glad your a psychiatrist and can confirm so many illnesses with someone, in such a short time. Where did you gain these skills? The Circus? You don't have the sense God gave a Goat. Safe Travels, Chris & Crew

This campground is on old Route 66 between mile marker 275 and 277 of I-40. It had decent level sites with full hook-ups, easy to get in and out of. Have restrooms, laundry, heated pool and a restaurant on site, although we were not impressed with the restaurant. Employees were all very nice. Perfect for an overnight stop. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
