We have been coming to this campgrounds for years and have seen a real decline in the place! We were hear last Labor Day and they had a slip and slide set up for the kids and a church group set up games and prizes for the kids. We brought them here Memorial Day expecting the same treatment and were told they only do it on the 4th of July and Labor Day. When we got there on Labor Day we were told there was no church group or slip and slide. The lady in the office stated that her husband worked on the maintenance crew and hated setting it up, When I took the kids to the playground it was a mess. The pirate ship is broken and boarded up! The area was muddy and full of ants. When I went into the shower room the paper towel rack was empty and someone had thrown what was left into the sink. I sat down on the toilet seat and got pinched because the seat has a crack in it. This seat has been broke for at least two years. The first stall toilet was broken. When I went back the second day someone had broken at least 7 tiles on the walkway leading into the building. Seems to me they aren’t putting any money back into the place. My grandkids wanted to go home early so we left on Sunday instead of Monday. I told the office about it and was told I couldn’t get a refund unless I spoke to the manager! I called back twice and left messages to call me back and no one did! We will not be coming back here!

Oh I simply adore the great outdoors and places to camp like this! The staff was very nice, helpful, and very accommodating. There were all the amenities we could ask for and there were plenty of great, spacious sites to choose from. They didn’t have a lot of activities but that was fine with us as we got so much out of the location and how well everything was maintained. My kids enjoyed the swings by the water as it really made them had a great experience. Overall we had a very pleasant time at a really great price. We will be back at some point in the future! - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
