Along the banks of the Las Animas River is Ruins Road RV Park & Campground, a no-frills campground connecting people to the beauty of Aztec, New Mexico for years. Just a half mile from Aztec Ruins National Monument, the park takes people close to one of the state's most interesting historical artifacts. View the remains of Aztec architecture and explore the small town of Aztec before returning to a clean and well-maintained campground at Ruins Road.
Look forward to amenities such as: big rig pull-thru sites, 30/50 amp sites, WIFI, sewerage, water, pet areas and a ton of great tent sites. The park accommodates mostly tents, and doesn't have a full list of amenities. However, with it's small town feel and plenty to see, you're sure to enjoy your time here under the stars.

Wonderful campground divided into 5 different camps on spacious acreage. We have stayed in their Base Camp several times. (Base Camp has cable TV)... This is a gorgeous campground with lots of room to roam, mature trees, wide private spaces, great friendly guests, a lovely pool, great views, fire pits, camp store with gifts, groceries, gas, pizza and ice cream and a pancake breakfast every morning...There are also tent sites and cabins. The campground is about 4 miles from Hill City, across the road from the Needles Highway and about 10 miles from Custer. Check out their website for more detailed information and pictures.. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
