Lots of tall weeds around the hookups. Never saw the owner. The office was closed when we arrived at about 4pm with a sign that said they’d be back soon, so we found our site on our own. No shade trees; just side by side in the dirt. Seemed to be mostly permanent residents. The site was very level and all the hookups worked fine. Very convenient access and it was pretty quiet if you don’t mind an occasional train. We thought it was pretty expensive compared to much nicer parks we’ve stayed in.

I drove right by the park at first because from the road it looked like a dump. When I turned around I saw the sign & pulled in. No one was in the office, just a sign telling customers to pick a spot. The place looked downright sketchy , & I could not see any place I would want to pitch my tent. So I left & called later that evening for a refund. The woman who refunded me half my money was professional & kind, but I still would not recommend the place to my friends

The owners were nice and the price for a night was great for full hook up. The only thing I was disappointed in was the fact that their website is using photos from Santa Rosa campground. No pool or trees, very misleading. Could have used a dip due to the extreme heat. Plus we were not aware that Santa Rosa lake was bone dry, no water. Had to take jetskis to Conchas lake.
