The Raccoon Campground is located at Sumner Lake, New Mexico and is a great spot for your next excursion. The reservoir is popular for its abundance of crappie, walleye, bass and catfish and is also a great place for swimming or just idling by the water's edge. The lake is also surrounded by scenic patched of forestry, perfect for hiking, biking and exploring and is especially excellent if you love wildlife like curious deer and beautifully-colored birds. About an hour away is the town of Santa Rose which is filled with cultural nuances, eateries and attractions, so be sure to take a day trip out there!
