Port Chilkoot Camper Park is located in the beautiful town of Haines, Alaska and is a great spot for a fun and relaxing vacation. Campers can look forward to a number of great attractions just beyond the campground including the Hammer Museum, Fort William H. Seward for wildlife viewing, the Alaska Indian Arts, Sea Wolf Gallery and the Whale Rider Gallery. There's also the Kroschel Films Wildlife Center, Chilkat Bald Eagle Preserve, Chilkoot Lake State Recreation Area for great river rafting, fishing and boating, the Port Chilkoot Distillery and the Sheldon Museum and Cultural Center. And of course, travelers can take advantage of the great aerial tours, day trips, water/boating and fishing tours, skiing expeditions and mountain biking, a ton of excellent local breweries and craft eateries to enjoy.
