The owner is very nice and accommodating! It is nice that most of the sites are pull through with plenty of room. The sites are dirt, weeds and grass so probably better make sure it hasn't rained or there is no rain in the forecast. There is a train that runs nearby every hour or so.

We stayed just one night while passing through and wanting to see Fort Laramie and Guernsey Ruts. Pulled in and our rig was swarmed by flies. They were everywhere on the outside of our motorhome - never been in a campground with them this bad! While setting up our rig and having to open the doors (as little as possible), our camper was flooded with them. Killed at least 30 flies in the first half hour and continued killing them into the evening! Wondered if it was just the area, but we didn't have any problems with flies when we visited sites around the area. No animal pastures seemed nearby to account for it. Kids wouldn't even ride their bikes because of them. The next morning when we got up, they were all over the sunny side of our motorhome. Owners need to spray or do something about the flies. Owner was very nice when arriving. Campsites are spacious pull-thru's with scattered weeds and sand with some grass - somewhat level. Roadways are gravel and okay. Had FHU and they were okay. Bathrooms seemed somewhat clean but dated. The two women's showers had no shower curtains or anything to give you any privacy! Just a curtain between the shower area and the toilet area. There was ample room in each stall to hang a curtain and hooks, but none there. No place to hang your clothes or towels. Would not use them due to privacy issue! No handicapped facilities. Only dumpster is in the back of the campground near the mobile home - not near the front so you can get rid of it as you leave. Trains do run frequently near the campground and blow their horns as they approach. Had fan and A/C running at night and did not hear them during the night. Didn't bother us. Just seems like a campground that has seen better days and needs some TLC. Would not stay there again unless no other choice because of the flies and shower privacy issues.
