Campers will find the Pioneer River Resort in the prettiest part of the Texas Hill Country you’ll ever see; surrounding the campground are lush rolling hills, limestone outcroppings, clear pristine, spring-fed creeks, rivers and the Medina Lake. Near the campground are a number of unique, local attractions such as the Bandera City Park, Frontier Times Museum and Bandera Natural History Museum. Nature-lovers flock to this area each year to enjoy the Hill Country State Natural Area for scenic viewing, hiking, biking and exploring. Campers can also visit the Dixie Dude and Silver Spur Ranches, as well as horseback riding tours across the area, and wildlife tours. Canoeing and kayaking at nearby rivers is also a common pastime among locals and visitors alike. Urban adventurers can also look forward to excellent, local bars and restaurants, gift stores and shops, country western halls, golf courses and even a shooting range. Amenities at the campground include: laundry facilities, a recreation room, tent camping, big rig access, pull thrus, pool access, WIFI, water, 30/50 amp sites, restrooms and showers. RV Sites

Standard sites are toward the front of the park. Premiums are nestled more in the back. RV sites feature laundry facilities, a recreation room, tent camping, big rig access, pull thrus, pool access, WIFI, water, 30/50 amp sites, restrooms and showers. Sites are also just a short drive from local attractions like the Dixie Dude and Silver Spur Ranches, as well as horseback riding tours across the area, and wildlife tours. Canoeing and kayaking at nearby rivers is also a common pastime among locals and visitors alike.

Caboose/Motorhome Info: Two adults only. No children, no smoking, and no pets are allowed in the Caboose. Caboose rental requires a one night deposit. Canoeing and kayaking at nearby rivers is also a common pastime among locals and visitors alike.
