Booked 1/30/24 and 2 days later realized booked in the wrong area for a wedding we are attending and tried canceling 2/1/24. They have a way to take your money but not return it in a timely manner, plus shame on them they steal 1 nights charge for canceling 6 months in advance. Unless you want to give them money for nothing, do not book. Shame on them!

Campground Response

The refund would not go through. Merchant services was contacted right away. There was a bug and they had a hard time fixing it so the refund took a few days. I kept in contact with her so she would know they were working on it. There is always a charge for cancellations.

They promote having a river and the river is about 11/2 mile not good for fishing. And the staff could not give or did not have any information on any other place for fishing. the staff was not friendly it was my first time there and I asked if I could have a tour to find out what amenities they had and I was told to get in my car and drive around and see. Also we got there around 6:30 and the office was close and the door sign stayed that it close at 8 p m I was woken up at 10:30 p m to move my truck to let another guests in because there was no place to park and the sites was tight we booked it for two week but left in 3 days it was so unpleasant. The only thing they had was a summing pool. The biggest disappointment was how unfriendly the staff was very unapproachable And I am an outgoing person.

Anna, Are you sure you have the right campground? This doesn't sound like anything we would do or say. We always direct people to the Mississippi River, Warner Lake or Clearwater Lake for fishing. We do say it's ok to drive through the campground but if you had asked for a tour we wouldn't have said that. We do close for dinner. Our sign says "we are on the back deck" so you can find us. Our sign says we close @8:30. We did not have anyone staying for 2 weeks & leave early. This must be another campground.
