Nederland is the gateway to the Indian Peaks Wilderness. Great fishing in Barker reservoir (sorry, no boats, canoes, kayaks etc.). World class mountain biking. Easy access to Berthoud Reservoir and Lefthand reservoir. 30 minutes to casinos in Blackhawk and Central City. 45 minutes to Estes Park. Great place to stay if you're hunting areas 20, 29 and 38. Beautiful backpacking trails close by, many of which access mountain lakes. Eldora Ski Resort is 10 minutes away.

This is not a legitimate RV park by any stretch of the imagination. It is an unmaintained, pothole filled lot with hookups and nothing else. 1. Spaces are not level, there are holes and mounds everywhere literally a foot deep and high. I had to use so many leveling blocks and jacks that my rig looked like it was floating, it was propped up so high in the front. 2. No trash or recycle option, so you have to let it pile up until you can find a place and pay to dump it. 3. RV spaces are all backed up on a trailer park that is also horribly kept and looks like a shanty town. It feels like an unsafe area overall. Really ruins the idea of a mountain view and enjoying nature. 4. Prices are heinous for what is offered, $40 a night and over $1k per month. This is regardless of water being shut off half the year, having no facilities for guests, no trash, no wifi. Again, this is just a lot in the ugliest location of Nederland. This "RV park" and the trailer park have the same owner, the owner of Katmandu restaurants and the Katmandu plaza here in Nederland, which are also all in obvious disrepair. A note to the owner: Take some of the money from the obscene prices you are charging and fix up your properties! Slumlords take better care of their property, you are responsible for the worst looking areas of Nederland. You should be ashamed.

Not an RV park but an empty lot near a trailer park with trash strewn about. It is the only place in the area for dumping and re-filling water but that is about all it is good for. Sewer dump pipes are higher than most RV sewer lines so I had to constantly go out and help coax the drainage out of the hose. Don't expect much.

We have traveled the country and by far this is the worst RV "park" experience ever! Let me save you the trouble. RUN! Do not stay here. Do not call. Do not pay them. Just RUN! The girl who runs the park was polite BUT she was deceptive. Her "voicemail" is full and she says in the outgoing message she won't answer numbers she doesn't know. How do you run a "park" and not answer calls!? We asked about a space that has 50 amp, sewer and water. She confirmed all things were available and good. Far from the truth. Then forced us to prepay before she would confirm a reservation. Now we know why. The "park" is shit and they trap you by not allowing a refund. There are 3 BACK IN only sites that are not maintained. It's the edge of someones backyard butting up against a run down ghetto trailer park. The pictures on this site are not of the actually spaces. The weeds and brush were so overgrown we were afraid the ground was unstable but we couldn't see anything to know for sure. There were large rocks strewn everywhere and planks of wood that we couldn't get into the "spot". The "water" is one spigot at the far end spot, hacked to have three spouts. So unless you bring your own long 50 foot hose, you do not get water. It leaks and there's mud and puddles everywhere. The "electric" was so buried in bushes we were afraid of a fire. The "sewer" was so high off the ground, the hoses couldn't get enough gravity to drain our black tank. This was not secure, not maintained and not an "RV Park" so RUN the F away!
