Our pick for best park in Concan. This park has great river access for everyone in the park as it's not too far from any campsite. The wi-fi was a bit slow at peak times. Sites have 30/50 amp full hookups, cable, and some have shade, power and water pressure is always very consistent, even with a full CG, also most sites do require leveling. Bathrooms/showers are always very clean and a laundry facility is on site. The 24 hour security patrols maintain the family atmosphere, taking care to remove any disruptive, rowdy folks. The store has provisions for those items you forgot and a shuttle service is provided for a float down the Frio when the flow is good. No matter the drought in this part of Texas there is water at the river access due to the Garner State Park dam since this CG shares the river area with the state park. There is a game room and activities hall on site and during the summer months a dance is held every night at Garner State Park (about 7 miles away) from dusk to 11:00 pm which is great fun for the whole family after a day in the river (a day fee is required at the gate for each person who wants to go unless you have a Texas State Parks Pass). Closest Walmart or big chain grocery store is 40 minutes away in Uvalde, TX so be sure you have plenty of provisions. Some sites are difficult to get into with a big rig so check with the staff when making reservations. The staff is always very helpful. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group

This riverside park is a must see. The river was just so perfect. It wasn’t cold on the day we went and we were able to swim for hours. They offer so much more than just swimming in this beautiful river. There were many different campsites to choose from which was awesome to be able to find a great spot for my big rig. The staff was very friendly and so were a lot of other campers. Mostly people kept to themselves which was nice to be able to focus on what matters. Like clean commodes and cheap tube rentals to float down the river. Overall it’s a very nice park and definitely worth checking out. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group

Absolutely worst experience of my life. If I could give it negative stars I would. A little background information: I am 18 years old and have been staying with my family at Parkview for the past 6 years. This past summer, I was there on my family trip and 2 of my friends came along and stayed with us. Mind you, all of the kids were minors in this situation. One day, we invited some of our friends who were staying at garner to come have lunch with us. These friends were also all minors. We went to pick them up and drove them to our campsite and everyone came inside our trailer for lunch. Apparently one of the men riding on a golf cart followed my car back to our campsite because he was just itching to yell at someone that day. We heard this loud banging and I mean BANGING sound on the side of our trailer and opened the door to a bearded young man CUSSING out the 16 year old who opened the door. I have never seen something so inappropriate. We had made no chaos that day, we didn't disrupt a thing. However, this man screamed at all of us that he was going to call the cops and gave us (once again we are all kids) arrested for trespassing because OUR 3 FRIENDS CAME OVER FOR LUNCH. My mom came to the front of the trailer and went outside to calm the man down and talk to him about the situation and how inappropriate his response was and he continued to yell, curse, and threaten her in every way he knew possible. His words beat her to the ground so hard she came back sobbing uncontrollably. He demanded that the 3 minors leave or else he'd call the cops, so we took them home immediately and thought that would end the ordeal. After returning home to Austin, we received a letter in the mail explaining that we were banned from ever returning to parkside and every surrounding campground. They contacted Nana's and several others to have us put on their "ban list" as well as the letter explained. I have been going on this vacation for as long as I can remember and because of this single incident, our summers will be changed forever. So, thank you Parkside for ruining something I have loved so dearly. This event proved to me that Parkside Riverview RV parks is no longer the family owned, customer prioritized establishment that I learned to enjoy so much. They have turned into a money hungry and absolutely careless company. They had no respect for minors or how their actions would affect these kids. I will never forget this experience. So I beg you, look past the clean bathrooms and cheap tube rentals. There are monsters running this park and they truly do not care about their customers. I hope my family will receive justice for this traumatic event however I am proud to say we will not be giving this park another dime of our money. After all, it's going to selfish, immature, money hungry Middle aged men that will ruin your entire experience.
