Parks Pond Campground is a mostly seasonal camper campground located on 14 acres of beautiful Parks Pond in the small town of Clifton, Maine.  Mike and Selina Lufkin and all the wonderful families want you to "come play in our neighborhood" soon.  Summer 2021 will be our 17th summer on the Pond with several "Theme Weekends" planned.  Our season opens May 14, 2021 and closes October 11, 2021 just in time for some leaf peeping.

Our campground features partial water and electric hookup sites along with tent sites for those seeking more traditional camping. Visitors can enjoy outdoor activities such as kayaking, fishing, canoeing and swimming outdoors. We hope you and your family will come and visit us soon.  We are looking forward to a wonderful summer at Parks Pond Campground with you!

We are located 16 miles on Route 9 East from Bangor/Brewer Area, campground is on the right.  Or if you are coming from Calais, Maine area via Route 9 West, we are approximately 72 miles, campground is on the left.

Hikes in our area Parks Pond Bluff, Chick Hill (Peaked Mtn), and Eagles Bluff are only a short way from our campground.  Sawmill Woods Golf Course is directly across the road - a beautiful 9 hole course, 36 par.  Only 45 minutes to Acadia and Bar Harbor areas.

Poor management. Accused us of using our nephews celebration of life as a way to crash their campground and use their boat landing. We contacted them prior to coming and their response was that it was ok to bring the boat and no charge. Today they emailed their absurd letter and requested money from us. I sent their money, as we intended to pay if there was a fee, however to accuse us of this evilness has me very upset and I certainly do not recommend any establishment that would be so rude as to contact anyone in this manner. Shame on them!

Camp sites were clean, showers nice and hot, bathroom was clean. We stayed after Labor Day, so very few kids around during the week. Office is not open full time during the week. It would have been nice to have a little welcome packet or one pager but we did get a map. Overall very good and kid/pet friendly
