Outflow Camping COE

This campground is located in an area about 15 mins from Ohiopyle. It would be a great location if you wanted to visit Ohiopyle but also enjoy a quieter campground. It was full for Memorial Day but still quiet as it has many fishmen and through hikers/bikers who stay there. This was the first site I have been to where I didn't need to level at all and other sites looked very level. Large level gravel pads could hold a large Rv or small and two cars. There are only a few full hookup sites but many with electric. The nearby lake has a fun beach area with a gentle slope for small children. Apparently the fishing is good because there were fishermen everywhere in the campground. For our family, it was a little too quiet as my kids like lots of others to play with. The two big drawbacks were the lack of shade and that there was only one shower house so when they cleaned you were stuck waiting an hour. There was a second bathroom. Also, many of the roads leading in to the area are hard to navigate. We went a little out of the way to rat 40 and 521 and it was much better.
