Opossum Bend Campground is located in the Lake Corpus Christi Campground situated in the beautiful city of Mathis, Texas. This campground is perfect for you if you are planning on going for a fishing adventure during your trip. This campground is situated just near 2 boat ramps and fish cleaning stations which can enable you to enjoy fresh fish for dinner near the campfire.

Opossum Bend is a pet-friendly campground which has 23 sites with water, electric hookups, and hot showers for you to enjoy your time with great facilities. The campers can enjoy amazing activities like hiking, Fishing, boating, paddle boarding, swimming and wildlife watching.

Love.. love..love.. this park. The people are awesome, the park well maintained, the weather was lovely. Yes, the parking lots are close together but it just enables you to get to know your neighbors. We plan on returning one day.
