Ontonagon Township Park and Campground

We stayed 3 nights here. We came with another rig and needed two spots. No reservations but called and he said he'd temporarily hold a spot for us. We pulled up as a couple pulled out of a beachside spot #30. Our friends took one under the shade not far from us. We had an awesome view of the lake. Not sure I'd camp here again just because of the amount of sand and the number of people crammed into the spots. W/E only but 50 amp. service which was great. Out site was the main one in this section facing beach so we had all the kids playing there. There was a lot of dog noise in the area. Dogs on leash still want attention or be inside with everyone else so the barking was constant with them tied up outside. Great person at the office. We had to get on top of our RV to trim all the tree limbs that were hanging down. Showers were in new bath house and the camphost needs to wash the shower curtains and spray down the walls for mold. It wasn't bad but expected it cleaner. No TV reception or could not reach satellite for the trees toward the south. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
