Registered guests are responsible for ensuring their visitors are properly registered and that all campground rules are followed. Short meetings, or visitors who are dropping off items to a camper may meet the camper at the office or outdoor pavilion (if not in use for an event), without paying the daily fee. A parking permit will still be required, except for drop and go visitors. All visitors are to park in the designated parking area, beside the Recreation Hall with their Vehicle Pass visible at all times.
In order to keep a tidy looking park, storage of items other than camp gear such as BBQ’s is not permitted under or around your RV or picnic table (firewood excepted). Please store toys inside your RV or in an enclosed outdoor container.
Smoking or vaping is not permitted inside any of the property buildings, in the pool enclosure, leash free dog park, or within 6 metres of the playground area. Please discard cigarette or cigar butts in a safe and clean manner. Drugs are not permitted on the property and are cause for eviction.
We welcome seasonal guests on a limited basis. Seasonal campers must abide by the terms and conditions outlined in this document, and agree and sign a formal rental Agreement. Please see park staff to arrange a site.
Contact information is required for all guests, in the case of emergency. This information remains confidential - we never give personal information to others. If you need to call 911 for any reason, and time allows after you have spoken to the 911 operator, please call the office so on call staff can be prepared to escort the emergency personnel to your site.
Outdoor rugs are permitted, however if your stay is longer than one week, we ask that you take it up for a day to allow the grass to recover.
Spot washing of RVs is permitted with a bucket of water and sponge. Only environmentally friendly soaps are permitted. Hose washing is not permitted, as it can result in a mess and disturb your neighbors.
For the comfort of all our guests, restrooms are open 24/7, apart from temporary closing for cleaning and sanitizing. We ask for your help in keeping the restrooms clean, and to advise staff should they need attention.
Hourly rental of space for group events can be arranged with any of our staff. A deposit by credit card is required. The event spaces used must be left clean and free of garbage. You are responsible for your guests’ compliance with park rules. Visitors attending a private event are not required to pay the daily visitor fee, but must obtain, and display a permit. Weddings, retreats, and corporate events are arranged contractually with the office. Please speak to one of our staff for details.
Quiet time is 10 pm to 8am. Noise infractions will be firmly enforced with expulsion possible for non compliance.
The pool area is open from 10am to 7pm daily. There is no lifeguard on duty: you are responsible for keeping yourself and children in your care safe. The pool has a maximum depth of 5 feet and therefore diving is not permitted. For the safety of all, horseplay, and running is not permitted. Please use only swim diapers in the pool for your baby. Food is not permitted inside the pool enclosure, and beverages must be in plastic containers. Children 12 and under are welcome to use the playground. We offer a leash free fenced area behind the cabins, where your dog can get some energy out! Your pet must be supervised at all times while in the dog enclosure, and must be well socialized. Use of the dog park is at your own risk and responsibility. Please register your pet at the office, along with your contact information in case of emergency. We allow a maximum of 2 pets per site or cabin. For the enjoyment of other guests, do not bring fido if he is a frequent barker, or aggressive and always pick up after your dog and dispose of waste in designated bins. Pets are not permitted in buildings, pool or playground area or on furnishings. Do not leave your pet unattended or permitted to bark excessively.
Parking for one vehicle is included in your reservation. We allow one vehicle per site, whether parked at your site or in the parking lot. Please do not park your vehicle, trailer, or boat in an adjacent site, even if it appears unoccupied.
Clotheslines are not permitted. A discreet drying rack for wet towels or small laundry items may be used within the confines of your site.

Do not leave garbage outside your site as insects and animals both small and large will be attracted to it, creating safety issues (black bears and skunks are not uncommon here). Pet waste is to be placed in the designated bins. Hazardous waste items are prohibited in the park and in disposal bins. The onsite dumpster is for staff use only. Disposal fees will be charged for any items illegally dumped.
Fires must be contained within the designated fire rings. Please do not move the fire ring, it has been placed in what is deemed as the safest location. Ocean River RV Resort will comply with provincial and regional fire bans to ensure the safety of our guests. We will monitor alerts and post fire ban notices outside the office, when required. Fire bans will be strictly enforced. We do not permit firewood to be brought in from outside the park. This is to prevent the introduction of insect species, wood disease and to save our clients from excessive smoke from wet wood. And yes, our business model is predicated on our guests purchasing firewood which helps keep our cost per site down! Our staff will provide you with a free bundle of firewood for your first night. Additional firewood may be purchased from the store.
Children in your care must be always under your supervision, especially around water. Their safety and conduct are your responsibility. Should any damages be incurred by those in your care, and restitution not satisfactorily resolved, the costs will be charged to your account.
