Oasis
Overview
Just north of Portales New Mexico is the regional beauty of the Oasis State Park. It is set among cottonwood trees, shifting sand dunes and a small fishing lake. Although fishing is the park's main attraction, also look forward to excellent hiking trails, mountain biking trails, picnic areas, and a peaceful shady campground and an abundance of birds.
Amenities include: tent camping, RV dump station, developed camp sites, big rig access, pull thrus, water, sewerage and 30/50 amp sites. You'll absolutely fall in love with this park; we hope to see you soon!

Was looking for a campground for my fifth wheel. Drove in and got as far as the office and was shocked by what I saw. Overflowing dumpster, weeds everywhere and what appeared to be abandoned rvs. There were only 3 in the field and it was near the end of may. Was absolutely shocked by the rundown image. Would definitely not recommend this to anyone I know looking for a seasonal campsite. What a shame!
