We stayed 2 nights in our Class C motor home in June, This park is right behind the dunes from the beach, with deck walk-overs to give you direct access. The grounds are very well maintained, with twice-daily trash pick-up, immaculate shower & laundry facilities, after-beach showers, pool, etc. It was the most we've ever paid (so far) for a camp site, but the rate was commensurate with the location. The sites themselves were grassy, and a bit muddy from recent rain, so we had to use some blocks to get level. Decent picnic table, enough room for the awning, and lots of big rigs. Walking distance to go-kart track, assorted shopping, and beach of course, though golf carts are king around here. There is a great path for cycling, jogging, or walking all along the main road, so you can ride to restaurants, mini golf, stores, etc. The Marine Corps Camp LeJeune is just a few miles to the south, so we had Hawker Harrier jets screeching overhead most of the first evening. The beach & water don't compare to the Gulf coast, but it was still nice. This area took a direct hit from Hurricane Arthur on July, so it would be worth a phone call to see if anything has changed. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
