My son loves reptiles, so when a friend told me about this park, I was super excited to take him for his birthday. The wildlife in Oak Park is one of its best features. We saw alligator lizards, sagebrush lizards and a few raptors which was even cool for my husband and me to spot as we walked around with the birthday boy, but luckily for me, none of them got too close! Apart from that, it was an amazing place to find a bit of quiet. The scenery is gorgeous with a lot of low hills for walking around, and sage scrub brush you'd normally find on the coast. I especially love that the park is great for group RVing; we've considered traveling with some of our friends before but it's pretty hard to find a campground with as much open space as this one. The amenities were also pretty great: there were restrooms, barbecue pits, picnic tables (which we ended up using the most) and volleyball and basketball courts for my son to play on. Overall we loved it, and I can't wait for us to go back next summer! - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
