New Brighton Campground

This is a really quaint campground! There is lot to be desired here. If you are looking for something luxurious this is not the place, this is for a simple camping trip! We were welcomed by the very friendly staff. The sites were a little barren but we got the basics from the amenities they offered. They did have some activities to do ere but we decided against it. We enjoyed the fire by the tent telling stories, playing cards and sleeping under the stars. The location is really nice as there are so many beautiful sights to see. We stayed in a tent and even though we kind of expected it, the site was a pinch bare. We had all the necessities like ice for the fish we caught and hot shower stalls, but not too many luxuries. It's definitely a more rugged site that the more hard-core campers will appreciate. We went for the fishing and that did not disappoint. Our catch was so large, we had to stop fishing after a while because we couldn't store everything!
