The Mustang Bayou RV Park is located in the beautiful town of Alvin and is a great spot for a quiet and cozy southern vacation. Campers there can expect plenty of trees, shaded sites and a peaceful atmosphere as well as close proximity to Galveston Beach. Campers can also look forward to Brazos Bend State Park, Bayou Wildlife Zoo and the gorgeous San Luis Pass. Also popular are the HMNS George Observatory, Southwyck Golf Club and Crocodile Encounter. Travelers also flock to the abundance of city and state parks in the area, ideal for hiking, biking, exploring, stargazing and sunset viewing. The Tom Blakeney Jr. Hike and Bike Trail is especially well-known among locals and visitors alike. Many go to the Haak Vineyard and Winery, then head to the Heritage Park Overlook Basin or Brazoria National Wildlife Refuge Discovery Center.
