he resort has large sites with FHU, reliable WIFI and cable TV. Discounts to AAA, AARP and Good Sam. Heated swimming pool, arcade, coin laundry and clean showers. Sites vary in size, are well speced out and many are deep and wide enough for large rigs with multiple slides. Sites have tables and fire rings, some with waterfront access and awesome views. During high tide you can launch a kayak from the Ocean Drive sites, just ensure you return before low tide. The resort is in the middle of the campground route for the island explorer shuttle. The shuttle ride is free to the Acadia National Park visitor center and the Bar Harbor village green where you can transfer to other shuttles to take you around the island. The campground bus has rack space for six bicycles and we have had no difficulty finding rack space for our bikes and seating inside. The bus is on the fall schedule now and is very popular. The resort is well maintained, very quiet for a busy campground near a national park. The staff is courteous, well organized upon reception and is very much informed about the park and Mount Desert Island. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
