Overview
The Mountain Spirits RV Park is located in Mimbres, New Mexico and is known for its proximity to the Gila National Forest and the Trail of the Mountain Spirits. The park is also close by Bear Canyon Lake, art galleries in Silver City, the Faywood Hot Springs, Mimbres Cultural Heritage Site and many other local attractions. There's plenty to see and do so be sure to stay for several days or a week. At an elevation of over 5,800 feet, park visitors enjoy insanely cool weather and gorgeous views of the desert vista and mountains. You may also spot the occasional desert creature, so keep your cameras handy!

Nice location for taking in Gila Cliff Dwellings, City of Rocks, and Silver City. Campground is very quiet and well managed and maintained. It looks like improvements are being made. Restroom / shower is one each in the same room and they and the laundry get locked up about 4 each day and are closed on Monday. Manager (Jennifer) is very helpful.

As for the restrooms and laundry room are being locked short term for winter due to people sneaking in to use facility and not paying for the use and also leaving a mess as our conversation in the office. We are in the process of getting that fixed with new special locks so that everyone will have access during their visit with us. So next time you are in the area it will be more accommodating in those aspects. Thanks for the great review!

Frank and Jennifer (park managers) were very friendly and very accommodating to our needs. The inside office was very presentable, clean, along with the park. Quite and relaxing away from home. Thank you Frank and Jennifer, will be staying here again.
